I found that the addition of interviews from professionals really added to the credibility of the presentation while also keeping the audience interested. I was always intrigued by the expert interviews. Seeing them speaking from experience was really interesting since they were just pouring all their knowledge out for the interviewer and everyone who watched the presentation. As well as this, I feel all the interviewers used their interviews effectively so they could elevate their points and highlight important topics.   Reflecting on Our Class Presentation Our recent class presentation is definitely one of my favorites. Each of us worked on different topics which tied into larger issues of civic engagement, and my group focused on education and the environment. Specifically, I chose to present on how education impacts the social environment. Melany Alfonso Mantrana Theme Project Reflection Reflecting on our class presentations, I was really impressed by how deeply everyone engaged with complex topics like immigration, civic action, healthcare, and environmental responsibility. Listening to my classmates explain these issues helped me see how they connect to real people’s lives, beyond just theory or politics.
